Cheers of "We are the Wolf pack, the mighty, mighty Wolf pack" resounded at our many basketball games this year. Our teams played both "home" and 'away" games against such teams as The Westchester School for Special Children, and the Hawthorne Day School.

The crowd cheered and the scoreboard read 50-36. The WEC Wolf Pack had finally won a game and broke a twelve-year losing streak. The first home game of the season was successfully played against Hawthorne Country Day School. It was a very close game with Jeremy scoring the winning basked. Other key players of the game were Will, David, and Neiel, who all scored several baskets. Everyone on the team contributed to this very exciting victory. After the game, WEC presented the Hawthorne team with pins for their good sportsmanship. This exciting day was newsworthy that it made the local newspaper. Thank you John L., Ryan W. and John T. for another exciting basketball season.
Of course no basketball team would be the same without a dedicated, enthusiastic cheering squad! Thank you Cat and Franche for all your help with the cheerleaders. The girls learned some new cheers this year and had lots of fun cheering for their fellow classmates. Go Wolfpack!
